Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of AuctionVerse, including fantasy leagues, auctions, drafts, scoring and related features.

Effective date: 21 August 2026 · Last updated: September 2026

1. What AuctionVerse is

AuctionVerse is a fantasy sports platform that may offer player auctions, snake drafts, fantasy teams, private leagues, fantasy scoring, standings, waivers, trades and commissioner-managed competitions. Features can vary by sport and tournament.

2. Independent platform

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, AuctionVerse is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or officially connected with the Premier League, UEFA, La Liga, FIFA, IPL, sports clubs, players, publishers, esports organizers or other competitions referenced on the platform.

Third-party names, marks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Accounts

You may need an account to create or join leagues. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials secure, and activity carried out through your account. You must not impersonate another person or use an account to mislead, abuse or harm others.

4. Usernames, team names and user content

Usernames, team names and other submitted content must not be illegal, threatening, hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, fraudulent or deliberately deceptive. AuctionVerse may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.

5. Fantasy leagues and commissioner authority

League settings may differ between competitions. Commissioners may control settings such as format, squad size, team limits, budgets, scoring options, waivers, trades, auction rules and other available league controls.

By joining a league, you agree to participate according to the settings and rules configured for that league. AuctionVerse does not normally intervene in strategy disputes or ordinary commissioner decisions unless there is evidence of cheating, abuse or a technical error.

6. Auctions

Auction leagues may include live bidding, nomination, timers and commissioner controls. Users are responsible for bids submitted through their accounts. Confirmed auction actions may be treated as final unless an available correction feature is used or AuctionVerse determines that a technical error occurred.

7. Drafts

Draft leagues may use manual selection, timers and automated selection. If a user's timer expires, the system may automatically select a player according to the applicable draft rules. Users are responsible for participating before their timer expires.

8. Fantasy scoring and data corrections

Fantasy points are calculated using the scoring system selected for the league. Scoring may depend on third-party match statistics and sports-data providers.

Fantasy points, player totals, team totals and standings may be recalculated when underlying match data is corrected, delayed or updated. The latest valid data available to AuctionVerse will generally take precedence over an earlier displayed score.

9. Captain and leadership multipliers

Some formats may include captain, vice-captain, IGL or similar leadership multipliers. The rules shown for the relevant league determine how those multipliers apply. Users are responsible for making required selections before applicable deadlines.

10. Waivers and trades

Where enabled, leagues may support waiver claims, free-agent actions and player trades. Transactions may be rejected or reversed when caused by duplication, unauthorized access, exploitation or a confirmed technical error.

11. Fair play

You must not attempt to gain an unfair advantage by hacking, using unauthorized bots or automation, exploiting bugs, manipulating auctions, coordinating fraudulent bids, creating accounts to bypass restrictions, interfering with another user's account, manipulating platform data or attempting unauthorized access to AuctionVerse systems.

Accounts involved in serious abuse may be restricted, suspended or terminated.

12. Sports data accuracy

AuctionVerse aims to provide accurate fixtures, player information, statistics and fantasy scores, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party data feed will always be complete, instantaneous or error-free.

13. Service availability

AuctionVerse may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure problems, internet failures, third-party outages or unexpected technical issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change, add or remove features as the service develops.

14. Optional paid features and advertising

AuctionVerse may display advertising and may offer optional paid features, including an ad-free or reduced-ad experience, subscriptions or other premium functionality.

Any price, billing period and included feature will be shown before purchase. Optional paid features do not guarantee improved fantasy results, rankings, auction outcomes or draft outcomes.

AuctionVerse currently does not rely on entry fees as a condition for ordinary league participation. If paid contests, entry fees, prizes or similar features are ever introduced, separate rules and any legally required disclosures will be provided before users participate.

15. No guaranteed competition outcome

AuctionVerse does not guarantee any particular fantasy result, ranking, auction outcome, draft result or league position. Fantasy performance depends on user decisions and real-world sporting events.

16. Gambling and unlawful use

AuctionVerse should not be used to conduct unlawful betting or gambling. Unless a feature is explicitly introduced and legally supported, nothing on AuctionVerse should be interpreted as providing a real-money gambling service.

17. Intellectual property

AuctionVerse's original software, branding, interface, design, text and proprietary materials belong to AuctionVerse or their respective licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, commercially exploit or reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where permitted by law or authorization.

18. Suspension and termination

AuctionVerse may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security threats, abuse, serious rule violations, attempts to damage the service, unauthorized access or illegal activity.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AuctionVerse is provided on an "as available" basis. AuctionVerse is not responsible for indirect losses arising from data-provider corrections, internet failures, third-party outages, user mistakes or ordinary commissioner decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Third-party services

AuctionVerse relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication, database, analytics and sports-data services. Those services operate independently and may have their own terms and policies.

21. Changes to AuctionVerse and these Terms

AuctionVerse is an evolving platform. We may modify features, supported competitions, rules, scoring infrastructure, design or technical systems. We may also update these Terms. When material changes are made, the effective date will be updated and additional notice may be provided where appropriate.

22. Governing law and mandatory rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer, privacy or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
