Acceptable Use Policy

This policy explains conduct and technical activity that is not allowed when using AuctionVerse.

Effective date: 25 August 2026

1. Fair participation

Do not manipulate auctions, drafts, waivers, trades, fantasy scoring or league standings through collusion, fake accounts, fraudulent bids, unauthorized automation or exploitation of technical defects.

2. Accounts and identity

Do not impersonate another person, access another user's account, share stolen credentials, create accounts to bypass restrictions, or deliberately misrepresent your identity to deceive other users.

3. System abuse

Do not probe, scan, overload, scrape at abusive rates, reverse engineer protected systems, bypass authorization controls, interfere with real-time auction traffic, exploit database policies, or attempt to access data that your account is not permitted to view.

4. Content and names

Usernames, team names and other user-supplied content must not be unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, fraudulent, maliciously deceptive, or used to target another user.

5. Bots and automation

Automation that gives an unfair competitive advantage, submits bids or selections without authorization, circumvents rate limits, or disrupts the service is prohibited. Normal browser accessibility tools and ordinary personal automation that does not interact unfairly with competitions are not targeted by this rule.

6. Security research

Good-faith security research should follow the Responsible Disclosure Policy. Do not access, modify, retain or publish other users' private data.

7. Enforcement

AuctionVerse may restrict features, suspend accounts, reverse abusive actions, preserve evidence of misuse, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users and platform integrity.
